These Chunky Cotton Canvases from Loxley Gold are well known by artists over the world for their professional quality and finish. Each of the canvases included measure 48 inches by 36 inches and have been triple primed with a rich and highly pigmented primer giving a smooth texture to the cotton canvas that is ideal for all techniques such as wet-on-wet or impasto in Acrylic, Oil and Alkyd paints.

This unique coat priming formula provides a surface with great tooth and adhesion that can hold paint well whilst preventing colour sink and cotton fibres degrading. Every canvas is hand stretched over wooden stretcher bars and secured on the reverse leaving the sides to be void of fastenings, with the edges of the frame having a depth of 36mm.

Thanks to the neat presentation this provides along with the elegantly tailored corners, the finished artwork can be left unframed for a modern and bespoke look.

    V pleased with frames - have bought several. delvered in cardboard bow within a cardboard box, so more secure & less rsik of canvas being punctured in transit.

    these canvases are as good as any artist needs - top quality product. and usually at a really economic price. - excellent fast delivery and well packed - why would you go anywhere else.
