Description

These Ashgate Cotton Canvases from Loxley come in a box of 20 that are perfect for students and amateurs looking for a high quality canvas to work on that is also very affordable.

Each of the 20 canvas are 8 inches x 8 inches and are made from a premium quality 10oz 100% cotton duck that will work perfectly with oil and acrylic paints due to the two coats of acrylic primer, you will achieve good adhesion to the cotton surface.

The canvases have a deep chunky edge measuring approximately 36mm in depth with a 350gsm making them quite dense and sturdy. The cotton canvases have been stretched over a quality wooden frame making it ready to paint on straight away without any need for stretching it yourself.

    We use these for mounting fabric art work without hiding it's texture under glass. Some we paint with a single plain colour others are left plain. These are ideal for our needs.
