These Ashgate Cotton Canvases from Loxley come in a box of 5 that are perfect for students and amateurs looking for a high quality canvas to work on that is also very affordable.

Each of the 5 canvas are 30 inches x 24 inches and are made from a premium quality 10oz 100% cotton duck that will work perfectly with oil and acrylic paints due to the two coats of acrylic primer, you will achieve good adhesion to the cotton surface.

The canvases have a deep chunky edge measuring approximately 36mm in depth with a 350gsm making them quite dense and sturdy. The cotton canvases have been stretched over a quality wooden frame making it ready to paint on straight away without any need for stretching it yourself.

    Only just received so not had time to use product, but have primed it, ready for use, canvas was very wrinkled when wet with primer, but quickly stretched to very taut when dry. Looks good. Don't know why, when it's made in Sheffield, I haven't found it before. I live in Sheffield! Ask me when I have had time to use it. I am an artist and a teacher. I have 66 students
